I work regularly work with children and I believe this somewhat influences me to put together outfits of crazy color combinations. When I get dressed in the morning I try to choose a combination of comfortable, reserved garments with just enough professionalism, while also balancing bright dynamic colors that emit just the right touch of fun! This look uses the same base garments, however, I change a couple of components for an entirely new feel!
I am wearing a green floral patterned blouse with peach-colored blossoms, denim jeans, and my brown knee-high boots. I also accompany the look with one of my french berets. Coincidentally, I chose to shoot by an urban park area which included a colorful playground. The location successfully calls back to the theme of this inspired look, but I also think it brightens up such a cloudy day, much like the blossoming tree I chose to stand next to!
I also switch my french beret for a simple bun, which is more accurate to my work appearance. I also decide to take out my sketchbook from my backpack and pose with it. As you see, I must always be prepared to doodle! Below, I’m using gray sketch markers by Artist’s Loft.
I really love my mustard cardigan. We have been through so much together; I can’t even begin to explain! I hope to to be able to share more looks with it in the future!
